Who We Are
Infrastructure Consultants Welfare Society was formed & registered on January 07th 2012 under the Madhya Pradesh Society Registration Act of 1973, fundamentally to cater the welfare and growth activities of Civil and Architectural Consultants along with other welfare activities. The Registration number of society is 01/01/01/24554/12.
In the year 2011, Mr. L. N. Malviya thought to bring about the change in the service tax reform with reference to applicability of service tax on sub-consultant and therefore with 7-8 other consultants he approached service tax department through letters & personal meetings in order to resolve the query of Sub- consultant. Thereafter Mr. Malviya succeeded in his mission & service tax department issued clarification that service tax shall not be imposed on Sub- consultant (Copy of the order issued is enclosed).
Subsequently in the Year 2012 an Association of Engineer, Architect and Consultant was formed under the vibrant leadership of Shri Laxmi Narayan Malviya in the name and style of Infrastructure Consultants Association of India exclusively to serve the welfare, betterment and growth of Civil Engineers, Architect, Engineering and Technical Consultants. Since its inception the association has expanded its welfare activities drastically and today it has more than 260 members on the roll. Mantra of the Association is "Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much".
The Chairman of the Association is Shri Laxmi Narayan Malviya, Secretary Shri Mohan Lal Gupta and Treasurer Shri Sanjay Sharma. The Association is gradually expanding its wings towards Infrastructure development activities across the Country. The Association has always taken an initiative to resolve many complex issues and contributed towards advancement & prosperity of Architect, Engineer & consultants fraternity. With the continual support of the members we are determined to resolve many more issues coming in our way relating to Architect, Engineer & Technical consultancy services. With the advent of expansion of Infrastructure in India there are number of Architect, Engineer consultancy firms and individual consultants who are providing their services and contributing towards nation building. We the Infrastructure Consultants Association of India are optimistic & always look forward to have more Architect, Engineer consultants as member of the Association. .
